Strangford B completed the League campaign with a home match against Banbridge B. As with all matches with this affable club and this encounter was no exception. Gary Smith got Banbridge off to a good start with a close 3 set win over Rory Mc Swiggan Derek Reay mad made it two with a similar winning margin over Peter Madine and Lorraine Smith completed the first round of win with another 3 set victory over against Cormac O’Reilly turning back the years and a man who really enjoys his table tennis. The Bridge made it four with another win by Gary Reay over Rory mc Swiggan but Strangford pulled one back with Peter Madine’s win over Lorraine but Gary Smiths win over Cormac to made it 5 Peter and Rory’s wins over Lorraine and Gary put two wins on the card for Strangford but the visitors won the remaining two matches for a comfortable victory in an entertaining match watched by the League Secretary.
